A true nice example of Persian Qajar Folk Jewelry Art dating approximate 1930s or 1940s and with a wonderful enamel crafts work. The colorful panels on this bracelet have hand painted Floral motifs, Birds and an architectural Landscape. Lovely storybook panel bracelet for women.
This exotic handmade bracelet features 9 oval shaped blue and white rustic cabochons, each porcelain cabochon was painted using a single hair. The colors are all fresh and vibrant. "J" hook and ring closure. On the inside of the bracelet the porcelain is not exposed but covered in the silver tone metal. Usually these are a grade of silver, possibly 800 silver but this bracelet is unmarked and untested. Some patina on the metal. Some signs of wear on the ceramic tiles. In a very good overall condition!
