Antique 1920s Art Deco Green Beetle brooch in pretty excellent condition. These are not exactly Scarab Beetles, but rather, that they are Leaf Beetles in the family Chrysomelidae, possibly Tortoise Beetles of the kind called Desmonota Variolosa. The metal body is almost sure a 14Kt gold washed metal filigree ornate with a couple of sparkling marvelous green Czechoslovakian Glass. No markings found and it is untested. Some tarnish and age marks on the metal, the scarab is immaculate. Secure C clasp fastener.
