Very rare and old Chinese Export Scrimshaw bracelet, from the 1920s or before. This phenomenal piece is comprised of delicate silver filigree work and set with 3 sections of hand painted Scrimshaw panels depicting birds in soft pastel colors. Exquisite detailed flowers and leaves design. Stamped "China Silver" on tongue of box closure. In a very good vintage condition - slight fading on etchings colors on two panels.
