The book is a hardcover edition with over 100 duograph and half tone engravings very interesting to have a luck at them. The book is not in the greatest condition and appears to have light moisture damage. It has in many places a handwritten name of someone in Nova Scotia, Canada who purchased the book in 1904 and USED IT EXTENSIVELY perhaps learning good manners and how to impress others in a more sophisticated social environment. There is inside an application for a job position from this same man. The pages are intact and full of interesting facts, illustrations and tidbits of the era. The cover is worn on the spine.
