This beautifully designed sterling Pill Box (2 items) was sold in Mexico City by J. N. Jacopo (Jacobo). The Jacopo brothers owned and operated a famous silver shop in Mexico City called Arte en Plata. They made and sold silver items produced at their shop, but also outsourced much of their work to silver artisans in Taxco. This is an old piece, it is 900 silver and is hallmarked DF which stands for "Distrito Federal", the federal district of Mexico City. I usually see "DF" and 900 on very old pieces and the 900 mark dates this piece pre 1920's. The listing is for selling EACH box separate, in case you want both of them you should write and get a discount. The boxes have general wear and signs of age, overall in very good vintage condition.
