RARE collectible antique 1910s Silver and Rose Gold Mediterranean style brooch. It's 900 sterling silver, and according to similar pieces from that time, the rose gold is probably 9 or 10 karat gold (untested). The brooch features cutout metalwork of a Caduceus with two snakes, vine with bunch of grapes, a dolphin and something that looks very much like beehive. It is a piece of jewelry created as souvenir for the Grand Tour of Europe at early 1900s and from all the pieces i know, this has a particular design very UNUSUAL. The brooch is marked by lovely sparkling Marcasite stones. Would make a lovely wedding gift! In a very good vintage condition!
