Antique 1920s Art Deco Green Scarab Beetle Stick Pin in pretty excellent condition. These are not exactly Scarab Beetles, but they are Leaf Beetles in the family Chrysomelidae, possibly Tortoise Beetles of the kind called Desmonota Variolosa. The metal body has two parts; the bezel of the scarab looks and probably is a 14Kt yellow gold case; the stick is probably 9Kt gold or a gold plated metal. No markings found and it is untested. Some tarnish and age marks on the metal, the scarab is immaculate.
Dimensions: Scarab 1.2 cm wide x 1.5 cm high. The pin is 6.7 cm long.
Weight: 3 grams
